Brighton & Hove Albion delivered a dominant performance to defeat Chelsea FC 3–0, boosting their European ambitions while deepening Chelsea’s struggles with a fifth consecutive defeat.
The home side wasted no time taking control of the match, opening the scoring just three minutes in. Ferdi Kadioglu capitalized on a well-executed corner routine, catching Chelsea’s defense off guard to slot home the early goal.
Brighton continued to press with intensity, exploiting Chelsea’s shaky buildup play and frequent turnovers.
