FC Porto have completed the signing of Nigerian striker Terem Moffi on loan from French Ligue 1 side OGC Nice for the remainder of the season.

The Portuguese giants confirmed that the deal includes an option to make the move permanent for €8 million at the end of the campaign, should the striker impress during his stay at the Estádio do Dragão.

Moffi has been handed jersey number 29 by the former European champions as he begins a new chapter in the Primeira Liga.

The move sees the 26-year-old forward reunite with head coach Francesco Farioli, who previously worked with him during his time at OGC Nice.

Their prior relationship is expected to ease Moffi’s adaptation to life in Portugal.

Before sealing the switch, the Nigeria international featured in 15 matches for Nice this season, scoring three goals for Les Aiglons.

FC Porto will be hoping his pace, physical presence, and eye for goal add extra firepower to their attacking options for the rest of the season.
