The Chairman of Emiloju Football Club and stakeholder of the Supporters’ Club, Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao, has expressed optimism about the chances of the Home-based Super Eagles in the upcoming CHAN tournament, scheduled to be held in Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya from August 2nd to 30th.
Alhaji Alao was present at the Remo Stadium in Ikenne when the Home-based Super Eagles defeated Ikorodu City 3-1 in a pre-tournament friendly game.
Alao lauded the technical crew led by Eric Chelle and expressed his confidence that the team will perform excellently in the tournament.
He was impressed with the level of preparation of the team and believes that the trophy will be brought to Nigeria.
“I am very optimistic about the chances of our team.
The technical crew has done a great job, and I believe they will bring the trophy home,” Alao said
In a related development, Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao has congratulated the Super Falcons on their 2-1 win over Bayana Bayana of South Africa, which sealed their spot in the WAFCON 2024 final.
He expressed his elation at the team’s pursuit of their 10th WAFCON trophy and urged them to remain undaunted and undistracted as they battle hosts Morocco in the final on Saturday.
