AFC Toronto striker Esther Okoronkwo has vowed to deliver more impactful performances for the Super Falcons at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Okoronkwo was named Woman of the Match in Nigeria’s 3-0 win over Tunisia, where she showcased her dribbling skills and pace.

Introduced by head coach Justine Madugu at halftime, Okoronkwo made an immediate impact, setting up Chiwendu Ihezuo for the third goal. She also hit the woodwork with a remarkable effort, demonstrating her quality and potential.

“It doesn’t matter where I start — what matters is the impact I have on the game,” Okoronkwo said, emphasizing her commitment to contributing to the team’s success.

With her impressive display, Okoronkwo is poised to play a key role in Nigeria’s quest for a record-extending 10th WAFCON title.
