Nigerian freestyle wrestling champion Odunayo Adekuoroye has announced the birth of her first child with her husband, Oladimeji Iyanda.
Adekuoroye shared maternity photos on her Instagram page, expressing her joy and gratitude for the new addition to her family.
She wrote, “With immense joy, your favorite Champion is thrilled to announce that I’ve embarked on the beautiful journey of motherhood.”
Adekuoroye expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming support and described embracing motherhood as a profound experience.
The wrestler had married her longtime partner in a quiet ceremony in Akure, Ondo State, shortly after her gold medal win at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
