Hammola Football championship: Ridwan Sodiq and Hassan Olalekan were Hat-trick heroes as Oriade FC Pummeled Lion FC Tooto while Ajegunle FC and Hsquare FC Played a Barren Draw in Opening Day Fixtures.

As the much awaited Hammola Football championship 5th Edition started today, it was basket full of goals in the match between Oriade FC and Lion FC Tooto as Oriade FC came out on top with 6goals to nil.

 

Two players of the winner Oriade FC side got hat-tricks for themselves. Ridwan Sodiq and Hassan Olalekan became the first players on the same team to score hat-trick in a single match in the history of Hammola Football championship.

 

It was a barren draw in the opening match between Ajegunle FC and Hsquare FC as the two teams failed to find the back of the net in a pulsating encounter.

 

In another match, Hemjay Cowboys FC were held to a 1 all draw by Akoment FC.

 

Abeeb was the goal scorer for Hemjay Cowboys FC, while Didi Monday got the equalizer for Akoment FC.

 

The last match of the day ended 1-0 in favour of Jakande FC against YSF Warriors. Gabriel Wale was the star of the show for Jakande FC as he got the only goal of the match.

 

The match also saw three red cards been dished out. Jakande FC Head Coach, Kehinde Olainukan and his player, Rafiu Ilyas were red carded while YSF Warriors, Fadipe Tunmise was also given his marching orders.

 

Four matches would be decided tomorrow as AUD All Stars would trade tackles with Crowned Champion by 9am, New Dawn FC vs Sabo Strikers by 11am, U.O.C Tigers will slug it out against Sharp Strikers FC by 1pm while the last match of the day would be between Ejigbo FC and Adegbite FC by 3pm.

Just like the Match day 1 fixtures, all matches would be live streamed.
