NPFL 2024/25:Enugu Rangers Battle El-kanemi In Season Opener

Defending champions Enugu Ranger will kickstart 2024/2025 Nigeria professional football league season today against El-kanemi Warriors.

Rangers won 2023/2024 Nigeria professional football league title after winning it last in 2016.

Coach Ilechuckwu-tutored side garnered 70points while runner-ups Remo Stars had 65points.

Enugu Rangers will aim to retain the title won last season by putting up some superlative displays throughout the season.

On the flip side, El-kanemi warriors are back in Nigeria professional football league.

El-kanemi warriors alongside Nasarawa united, Beyond Limits and Ikorodu City were Promoted to NPFL at the conclusion of last season.

El-kanemi warriors also won Nigeria President federation cup last season by defeating Abia warriors at the final.

Other matchday one fixtures are Lobi Stars vs Akwa United, Sunshine Stars vs Bayelsa united,Kano Pillars vs Ikorodu City,Abia warriors vs Remo Stars, Beyond Limits vs Enyimba, Kwara United vs Niger Tornadoes, Bendel Insurance vs Rivers United, Nasarawa united vs Shooting Stars and Plateau United vs Katsina United.
