Paris 2024: Nigeria Relay Teams Falter,Fail To Reach Final

It was a disastrous outings for Nigeria women’s and men’s 4×100 relay teams failed to reach final.

Nigeria Women’s 4x100m Relay quartet finished with a Season Best of 42.70s, coming 6th and will not be proceeding to the finals.

The British quartet of Bianca Williams, Imani Lansiquot, Amy Hunt & Desiree Henry won the second heat of the women’s 4x100m in a time of 42.03s, France was 2nd in 42.13s, while Jamaica posted a time of 42.35s in 3rd.

While the Men’s 4x100m finished 7th with a Season Best of 38.20s and also bowed out of the Relays.

South Africa grabbed an automatic spot in the final, finishing 2nd in an SB of 37.94s, with USA winning the race in 37.47s
