Oyo State Tennis Association Unveils Representatives for Rock Tennis Foundation’s 5th Edition

The Oyo State Tennis Association has disclosed the names of its representatives set to compete in the upcoming 5th edition of the “Rock Tennis Foundation 16 & Under Tennis Competition” scheduled to take place in Abeokuta, Ogun State from January 3rd to 6th, 2024.

In a statement released by the association’s media department, the selected representatives are:

1. Onyekachi Ogumjiofor

2. Tomiwa Adejola

3. Imole Afolabi

4. Rokibat Afolabi

Organizers of the event specify that each state will be represented by two male and two female players.

Ganiyu Tirimisiyu, the head tennis coach of Oyo State, expressed the significance of this opportunity for the representatives to showcase the state’s prowess and bring honor to Oyo.

The team is scheduled to depart from Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State, to Abeokuta on January 2nd, a day before the commencement of the competition on January 3rd.

Coach Tirimisiyu commended Dr. Mogaji Akin Fagbemi, Chairman of Oyo State Tennis Association, for his unwavering support.
