The 3rd Edition Of the U-17 Igala Nations Cup played at the Community Secondary School Field Ajaka on Christmas day ended 1-0 in Favour of United Boys Fc of Ajaka after they edge Muri Football Academy by a lone goal scored by Youthful prodigy Ridwan Mohammed in the Opening minutes of the second half.

United Boys Fc who were all over the Pitch from the blast of the whistle enjoyed a larger percentage of the possession but were unlucky in front of Goal especially in the first half as the Muri Football Academy safe hand was the saviour of his side posting superlative performance to deny the rampaging United Boys attacking frontline who were indeed United in their approach especially in front of goal the chance to register anything.

The first half ended goalless to the disappointment of the fans of both team who believed the first half should have produced a handful of goals. The second half was quite eventful and United boys Fc changed their style which paid of almost immediately as Ridwan Mohammed who was left unmarked took advantage of an aerial contest which he professionally brought down and fired a blast which beat the Muri Academy goalkeeper for the first and only goal of the epic clash.

All effort by Muri Football Academy to level up proved abortive as they became quite wasteful in front of goal and couldn’t make any meaningful impact before Centre Referee Kamilu brought the game to an end.
