BOF Unity Cup Holds Football Clinic As KFC,Taye FC Clash In Opener.

The Football clinic that would herald the 2023 Bamidele Omosehin foundation Unity Cup has been held, Sportsgister.com reports.

 

The Football clinic held at Methodist high school Okitipupa had participants from the six local governments in Ondo South Senatorial District of Ondo state.

 

The lead facilitator Goke Akinbi while speaking at the event harped on adhering to the rules of the game especially the especially latest rules.

 

He took them through the changes in the rules including sanctions of time wasting and distractions.

 

He urged them to focus on winning matches than focusing on match officials.

 

On his part,the chairman Okitipupa Referees Society Tope Ogunboye enjoined the participating teams to do their home works well than expecting favour from match officials.

 

While Speaking earlier,the LOC Chairman Bukunmi Akinnubi applauded the gestures of the donor, Chief Bamidele Omosehin.

 

He equally urged the participating teams to adhere strictly to the rules of the tournament.

 

22 teams are participating in this year’s tournament across the three centers of the zone.

 

Okitipupa center has 12 teams while Irele and Ore Centers has 6 and 4 participating teams respectively.

 

Actions would begin on Sunday 12th November with KFC trading tackles with Taye FC at the Okitipupa center.
