Cole Palmer has signed a two-year contract extension at Chelsea tying the England forward down until June 2033.

The 22-year-old was the stand-out performer at Stamford Bridge last season, scoring 25 goals in 45 games.

And he took his red-hot form into the international arena, impressing off the bench for England during Euro 2024.

His performances went from strength to strength as the tournament went on, with the talent setting up Ollie Watkins’s late winner in the semi-final against the Netherlands.

A second-half strike in the final against Spain left the Three Lions within touching distance of a long-awaited trophy but the side fell to a 2-1 defeat after a late Mikel Oyarzabal winner.

Now Palmer, whose Chelsea deal already had him committed to the London club until 2031, has put pen to paper on a two-year extension, The Athletic reports.
