CAFCC : Rivers United To Face Tough Tie Against Academica do Lobito In Angola

Former Nigerian champions, Rivers United will a tough clash against bottom placed Academica do Lobito when they travel to Angola as they look to gain a positive result against their opponent who is currently on a dire run of results.
The hosts currently languish at the bottom of the group with zero points, but will be playing for pride in front of their supporters although United are three points behind joint group leaders, Club Africain and Dreams FC who are both on 9 points ahead of their tie set to take place on the same day.
With the dust barely settled from the recently concluded and most successful TotalEnergies CAF AFCON, the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup takes centre stage with a bumper-to-bumper line up of fixtures set to thrill on Sunday.

In Mali, Stade Melians welcomes Congo’s Diables Noirs who are looking for their first win of the group stages following their three losses and a draw, which sees them at the bottom of Group D.
