President Federation Cup: Tubaba Applauds Sunshine Stars U-19 Victory Over Niger Tornadoes

Ondo State-based football scouting expert and Chief Executive Officer of Tubaba Football Scouting Expert Network Nigeria,Comrade Oluwatope Ayokunle as known as Tubaba, has congratulated the Ondo State Football Agency following the impressive victory recorded by Sunshine Stars Under-19 team against Niger Tornadoes of Minna in the Round of 64 of the ongoing 2026 President Federation Cup.

Tubaba made this known during an interview with newsmen in Akure, the Ondo State capital, where he praised the outstanding performance of the young Sunshine Stars side and commended the efforts of the agency in youth football development.

The seasoned football administrator, who previously served as Secretary and Publicity Officer of the Sunshine Stars Under-19 team and was also the pioneer secretary of the youth league side, described the victory as a reflection of hard work, dedication, and proper football management.

He particularly applauded the Chairman of the Ondo State Football Agency, Mr. Divine Ogbonnaya, for his resilience, commitment, and determination towards achieving positive results with the team. According to Tubaba, the agency’s leadership has shown strong passion and consistency in repositioning football development in the state.

Tubaba also passed a vote of confidence in the leadership of the agency, noting that its various developmental programmes are already yielding positive results, especially among young football talents in Ondo State.

He further urged the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, to continue supporting the football agency by partnering with scouting agents and football stakeholders to help market talented Sunshine Stars players to clubs in Europe and other parts of the world.

The football scouting expert also acknowledged the governor’s continuous support and commitment to sports and football development within the state, stressing that such encouragement would further motivate young players to excel.

Tubaba concluded by once again commending the leadership of the Ondo State Football Agency for the positive results achieved so far and expressed optimism that the Sunshine Stars Under-19 team would continue to make the state proud in the ongoing President Federation Cup competition.
