SWAN Congratulates Oluchi Tobe-Chukwu On Appointment As NSC DG’s Media Aide

The National Leadership of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has congratulated Mrs Oluchi Tobe-Chukwu on her new appointment as Media Aide, Strategic Communication, to the Director-General of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Hon. Bukola Olopade.
While congratulating her in a letter dated Friday April 24, 2026, the SWAN President, Mr. Isaiah Benjamin, through the Association’s Secretary-General Amb Ikenna Okonkwo described her new attainment as well deserved.
Part of the letter reads, “This remarkable achievement is a testament to your dedication, professionalism, and outstanding contributions to the field of media and communication. Your wealth of experience and proven capacity for excellence have clearly distinguished you as a worthy choice for this important role.
“We are confident that you will bring your expertise to bear in strengthening strategic communication, enhancing public engagement, and promoting the vision and objectives of the National Sports Commission. Your appointment comes at a critical time when effective communication is essential to the growth and development of sports in Nigeria.
“SWAN is proud to be associated with your success and looks forward to a fruitful working relationship with you in advancing the cause of sports journalism and development in the country.”
The President of SWAN also wished Mrs Tobe-Chukwu, mostly known as Tobex, divine wisdom, strength, success, and fulfillment in her new position.
