Victor Osimhen reached a remarkable personal milestone on Sunday night, scoring his 200th career goal as Galatasaray cruised to a dominant 4–0 victory over Kayserispor in their Turkish Super Lig encounter.
The Nigerian striker was at the heart of Galatasaray’s attacking display, not only finding the net but also providing an assist to cap an impressive all-round performance.
Osimhen netted Galatasaray’s second goal of the night from the penalty spot in the 26th minute, calmly converting to take his career tally to 200 goals — 165 at club level and 35 for Nigeria.
The 27-year-old went on to turn provider just after the hour mark, setting up Gabriel Sara to score Okan Buruk’s side’s third goal as the Yellow and Reds tightened their grip on the contest.
Osimhen has now scored 14 goals in 20 appearances across all competitions for Galatasaray this season, underlining his importance to the Istanbul giants.
The emphatic win ensured Galatasaray retained their place at the top of the Turkish Super Lig standings with 49 points.
