Super Falcons striker Joy Omewa continued her breathtaking form in Europe, proving yet again why she is one of Nigeria’s hottest talents abroad this season.
The red-hot forward extended her remarkable scoring streak to 14 consecutive matches, striking once more on Thursday night during Fortuna Hjørring’s intense UEFA Women’s Europa Cup clash against Icelandic side Breiðablik.
Omewa delivered her club’s second goal of the match in the 48th minute, marking her 4th Europa Cup goal of the season.
Despite Fortuna Hjørring eventually falling 2–4 after extra time, the Nigerian forward was once again a standout performer.
This latest goal takes her to an impressive 20 goals in 21 matches across all competitions, underlining her status as one of Europe’s most clinical finishers at the moment.
With her consistency, sharp movement, pace, and lethal finishing, Omewa has become a nightmare for defenders and a shining example of Nigerian excellence on the global stage.
