‎The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially revealed the final three nominees for its prestigious 2025 Awards, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, November 19, in Rabat, Morocco.

‎The announcement, made on Sunday, has intensified excitement across the continent as Africa prepares to honour its finest football talents.

‎In the highly coveted CAF Player of the Year (Men) category, three exceptional stars have made the final shortlist:

‎Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray/Nigeria)

‎Mohamed Salah (Liverpool/Egypt)

‎Achraf Hakimi (Paris Saint-Germain/Morocco)

‎Osimhen, who remains one of Africa’s most influential forwards, is aiming to reclaim the crown he won in 2023. The Nigerian striker previously ended a long wait for his country before his teammate, Ademola Lookman, claimed the honour in 2024.

‎Mohamed Salah brings his consistency and world-class output into the race once again, while Hakimi’s impressive performances for club and country continue to solidify his status as one of the best full-backs in global football.

‎Ajibade Shines in the Women’s Category

‎In the Women’s Player of the Year category, Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has earned her place among Africa’s elite by making the final three. The Atletico Madrid forward will contend with two Moroccan stars:

‎Ghizlane Chebbak (Morocco)

‎Sanaa Mssoudy (Morocco)

‎Ajibade’s inclusion crowns a stellar year filled with leadership, consistency, and standout performances for both club and country.

‎All roads now lead to Rabat, Morocco, where football’s biggest names, legends, and stakeholders will gather for the 2025 CAF Awards. The ceremony promises glamour, celebration, and recognition for those whose performances have illuminated African football over the past year.
