Coach Onigbinde Akinade has officially resigned as Technical Adviser of Doma United FC of Gombe, drawing the curtain on a memorable three-year tenure with the Savannah Tigers.
In a resignation letter dated September 2, 2025, and addressed to the club’s Chief Executive Officer, Alhaji Suleman Umar, Akinade described his service at the club as “an honor and a rare privilege,” expressing his heartfelt gratitude for the trust placed in him and the opportunity to guide the team during one of its brightest periods.
“Over the past three seasons, it has been an honor and a rare privilege to serve this great club under your able leadership. I am deeply grateful to you, Alhaji Suleman Umar, for entrusting me with the responsibility of guiding the team,” the letter read.
He also commended the technical crew, players, and backroom staff for their professionalism, unity, and hard work, noting that their collective effort played a central role in the club’s many milestones.
