‎Bayer Leverkusen has announced the sacking of head coach Erik ten Hag, just two league games into the new season.

The decision was made after a 3-3 draw against Werder Bremen on Saturday, where Leverkusen led 3-1 before conceding two late goals.

‎ Ten Hag was appointed as Leverkusen’s head coach on July 1 and oversaw only three matches before his sacking.

‎Leverkusen’s summer transfers saw several key players leave, including Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Jonathan Tah, Granit Xhaka, and Amine Adli.

‎Fenerbahce relieved Mourinho of his duties last Friday after failing to qualify for the Champions League.

‎Besiktas parted ways with Solskjaer following their inability to progress from the Conference League play-offs.

‎ Leverkusen’s assistant coaching staff will take over training duties for the time being.
