Nigerian goalkeeper Kingdom Osayi has signed a new contract with Swedish club Assyriska FF, expressing his excitement about the development.
Osayi joined Assyriska FF from eighth-time Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions Rangers in April on a short-term deal.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper gained recognition during his time with NPFL club Lobi Stars.
He quickly established himself as Assyriska FF’s first-choice goalkeeper following his arrival, showcasing his skills and talent.
After interest from other clubs, Assyriska FF moved swiftly to secure Osayi’s future with a new contract.
Osayi expressed his delight with the extension, highlighting the club’s significance beyond football.
”Extending with Assyriska FF was obvious. The club is more than football – it is our identity, our heritage, and a symbol of freedom and pride,” Osayi told the club’s official website.
