NNL:Abia Comets FC Names New Technical Crew Ahead Of New Season

Abia Comets FC, a Nigerian National League (NNL) team, has announced the appointment of Coach Monday Eguavoen and Dipreye Teibowei as the new technical crew ahead of the upcoming season.
Both coaches have signed a one-year deal with the option of renewal at the end of the season.
Brother of ex-international and current Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Augustine Eguavoen. Monday Eguavoen brings valuable experience to the role.
- Dipreye Teibowei (aka “Computer”): Former Technical Adviser at Bayelsa United FC. Teibowei’s expertise is expected to enhance Abia Comets’ performance.
Abia Comets FC Chairman, Boniface Alozie, expressed confidence in the new coaches, stating they were selected based on merit.
He promised to collaborate with them to achieve success in the NNL. The club has set August 18th, 2025, as the resumption date for the new season. Old and new players will report on August 15th, 2025, for preseason preparations.
