‎Coach Salisu Yusuf has parted ways with Nasarawa United to join a club in the Benin Republic.

‎The 63-year-old former Super Eagles assistant coach took charge of the Solid Miners in the second half of last season and helped the team avoid relegation.

‎He also led them to the last four of the President Federation Cup.

‎Salisu Yusuf is set to seal a lucrative deal with the Beninoise club after being courted by several teams.

‎Notably, he received interest from his former club, Kano Pillars, before opting for the opportunity in Benin.

‎This move marks a new chapter in Yusuf’s coaching career, as he ventures into managing a club outside of Nigeria for the first time.

‎Yusuf’s departure may have significant implications for Nasarawa United as they prepare for the upcoming season.

‎The team will need to find a new coach to lead them in the NPFL and other competitions.
