‘We Are Sorry’ – Mohammed Kudus Apologises To Ghanaians On Behalf Of Black Stars Players

New Black Stars captain, Mohammed Kudus has issued an apology to Ghanaians on behalf of the team.
The apology comes after the poor performance of the team on Tuesday which saw Sudan defeat Ghana 2-0 in Round 4 of the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
In his statement, Mohammed Kudus said “As someone who captained the team in the two games, it is with great humility and a deep sense of responsibility that I issue this statement. On behalf of the entire team, I would like to extend our sincerest apologies to the people of Ghana for our recent performances against Sudan in Accra and Libya.”
Mohammed Kudus further assured Ghanaians that the Black Stars are determined to learn from their experience in the double header against Sudan to do better in subsequent assignments.
“We want to assure Ghanaians that we are committed to learning from our mistakes, regrouping, and working tirelessly to restore the Black Stars to our former glory. We value the unwavering support and loyalty you’ve shown us, and we’re determined to make you proud once again,” Mohammed Kudus said.
The new Black Stars captain further urged fans to stand by the team during their difficult period.
He stressed that the players in the Black Stars are determined to do everything to succeed.
