AFCON 2027 Qualifier: All Sports Supporters’ Club Storms Uyo To Rally Super Eagles Against Madagascar
The All Sports Supporters’ Club of Nigeria has arrived in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, in large numbers to rally support for the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of today’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying encounter against Madagascar.
The supporters’ club delegation, led by its Deputy National President, Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao, arrived in Uyo with a large contingent of passionate supporters, band boys and other side attractions aimed at creating an electrifying atmosphere for the crucial encounter.
The Super Eagles are expected to receive strong vocal backing from the supporters as they take on Madagascar at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, with kick-off scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Nigerian time.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, Deputy National President of the All Sports Supporters’ Club, Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao, called on Nigerians to remain firmly behind the national team and urged the players to give their best on the pitch.
Alao expressed confidence in the ability of the Super Eagles to put up a strong performance, stressing that the supporters’ club had mobilised to Uyo to provide the team with the necessary encouragement throughout the match.
He said the presence of the supporters was aimed at demonstrating the unwavering support of Nigerians for the national team while urging the players to remain focused and fight for victory.
The All Sports Supporters’ Club is expected to add colour and excitement to the atmosphere inside the stadium with its organised chants, drums, band music and other activities designed to motivate the Super Eagles.
The encounter against Madagascar is an important fixture in Nigeria’s campaign for qualification for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, and the supporters’ club has promised to play its part by providing maximum encouragement from the stands.
With the stage set at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, the All Sports Supporters’ Club has called on football-loving Nigerians to unite behind the Super Eagles as they battle Madagascar for crucial AFCON qualifying points.
