Victor Osimhen Runs Riot As Galatasaray Cruise Past Erzurum FK

Victor Osimhen produced another outstanding performance for Galatasaray on Friday night, scoring twice and providing an assist as the Turkish champions cruised to a convincing 4-0 victory over Erzurum FK in the Turkish Super Lig.

The Nigeria international was at the heart of Galatasaray’s attacking display, contributing directly to three of their four goals as Okan Buruk’s side maintained their impressive start to the new league campaign.

Galatasaray opened the scoring in the 12th minute when Roland Sallai finished to give the visitors an early advantage.

Just eight minutes later, Osimhen turned provider, setting up Yunus Akgün to double Galatasaray’s lead and put the defending champions firmly in control.

The Nigerian striker then got his name on the scoresheet moments before halftime.

Osimhen struck on the stroke of the 45th minute to make it 3-0 and send Galatasaray into the break with a commanding advantage.

The 27-year-old completed his brace with 10 minutes remaining, finishing clinically after being set up by Gabriel Sara to complete an emphatic 4-0 victory.

Osimhen remained on the pitch for the entire 90 minutes and once again demonstrated why he remains one of the most dangerous forwards in Turkish football.

The performance takes his tally to four goals and one assist in two league appearances this season, underlining his explosive start to the campaign.

With Osimhen firing on all cylinders, Galatasaray will be confident of mounting another strong defence of their Turkish Super Lig crown.
