Amoo FC Set For Ex-International Cup Opener Against Ogunlade FC

Amoo FC will begin their campaign in the Ex-International Cup with a group-opening clash against Ogunlade FC this morning at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
The encounter, scheduled to kick off at 10:00 a.m., is expected to provide an exciting start to the competition as both sides look to secure maximum points in their opening fixture.
Amoo FC will be represented largely by players from Emiloju FC, giving the young talents another valuable platform to showcase their abilities before football stakeholders, scouts, and enthusiasts.
Speaking ahead of the match, the Chairman of Emiloju Football Club, Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao, who will be standing in for Amoo FC at the tournament, commended the Lagos State Football Association under the leadership of Hajji Gafar for organizing the competition and creating opportunities for young footballers to develop and gain exposure.
Alhaji Alao also expressed his appreciation to Bet9ja for its support of grassroots football and sponsorship of initiatives aimed at nurturing the next generation of Nigerian football stars.
He further thanked Coach Amoo for providing his players with the opportunity to participate in the prestigious tournament, describing it as a valuable avenue for talent discovery and development.
The Emiloju FC chairman expressed strong optimism about Amoo FC’s chances in the competition, stating that the team is well-prepared and capable of surpassing expectations.
