Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion have completed the signing of highly-rated Nigerian youngster Zadok Yohanna on a permanent transfer from Swedish club AIK.

The 18-year-old winger has put pen to paper on a five-year contract with the Seagulls, marking a major milestone in his rapidly rising career.

Brighton reportedly fought off strong competition from fellow Premier League clubs Newcastle United and Chelsea to secure the services of the talented attacker, who has been one of the standout young performers in Sweden this season.

Yohanna impressed during his brief spell with AIK, scoring two goals and providing three assists in just seven league appearances. His eye-catching displays quickly attracted interest from several top European clubs before Brighton moved decisively to complete the transfer.

The Nigerian teenager only joined AIK last year from Ikon Allah Academy, where he developed his skills and established himself as one of the country’s most promising young talents.

His move to Brighton represents another significant step in his development and offers him the opportunity to showcase his abilities on one of football’s biggest stages, the English Premier League.

With his pace, creativity, and attacking flair, Brighton fans will be eager to see what the young Nigerian can bring to the club in the years ahead.
