Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen continued his impressive form in Turkey as he found the back of the net in Galatasaray’s emphatic 4–1 victory over Antalyaspor in Saturday night’s Turkish Super Lig clash.
The Nigerian international was once again on target, scoring his sixth league goal of the season for the Yellow and Reds in a dominant display that underlined Galatasaray’s title credentials.
Osimhen struck Galatasaray’s third goal of the encounter in the 56th minute, calmly finishing off a swift counter-attacking move to put the result beyond doubt. His goal capped another influential performance from the 26-year-old forward, who has quickly become a key figure in Okan Buruk’s attacking setup.
The convincing win saw Galatasaray extend their lead at the summit of the Super Lig standings to five points, strengthening their grip on first place as the season progresses.
Osimhen will now turn his attention to international duty as he links up with the Super Eagles ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Galatasaray return to league action on Thursday when they take on Istanbul Başakşehir in their next fixture.
