‎Super Eagles midfielder Christantus Uche delivered a standout performance on Thursday night as Crystal Palace cruised to a 3–0 victory over Shelbourne in their Europa Conference League fixture.

‎Uche, making only his second appearance in the competition, wasted no time in stamping his authority on the match. The Nigerian midfielder opened the scoring in the 11th minute, finishing off a flowing Palace move with composure.

‎Just 14 minutes later, he turned provider. Uche produced a brilliant defence-splitting pass to set up Eddie Nketiah, who doubled Crystal Palace’s lead in the 25th minute, giving the visitors full control of the match.

‎Palace continued their dominance as Yeremi Pino added a third in the 37th minute, effectively putting the contest beyond Shelbourne before halftime.

‎The emphatic win lifts Crystal Palace to 9th position on nine points, while Shelbourne remain rooted in 34th place with just one point as their struggles in the competition continue.

‎Uche’s goal and assist will undoubtedly boost his confidence as he continues to fight for more playing time and looks to cement his place in the squad.
