It’s no longer news that the NWFL Premiership 2025/2026 season has started in spectacular fashion with 18 of the 19 teams in action.
Of all the matches played, the match between Dannaz Ladies and Osun Babes stood out as the match of the week because of the intrigues and late dramas.
Though Osun Babes FC lost the game narrowly 3-2 but it was indeed a great spectacle to behold at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos State as Osun Babes FC won the heart of a lot of people due to their fantastic display.
The fantastic display was made possible by the dynamic Osun Babes FC technical crew led by Coach Bankole Olowookere.
Coach Bankole Olowookere has proved time and time again that he is a world class gaffer. Little wonder he led the Female National u17 team to last World Cup in Morocco.
Apart from his technical and tactical acumen, Olowookere’s man management is second to none. It is visibly evident in the way his girls played against Dannaz Ladies in Lagos.
He became the coach of Osun Babes FC not up to a month and has given the team direction and purpose by combining good football with discipline.
Olowookere has brought a wonderful aura that is radiating on the team, something that has been missing for long.
With Bankole Olowookere on the Technical Bench of Osun Babes FC, the team can aspire to achieve anything…
