VOA Academy Emerges Champions of Prestigious Oba Justice John Ademola Ajakaiye Memorial Competition

VOA Academy, led by Victor Adewusi Oluitan, triumphed over Sporting Wolverine of Oye in a thrilling novelty match, claiming the top prize at the 6th edition of the Oba Justice John Ademola Ajakaiye Memorial Competition.
Building on their third-place finish among 16 teams last year, VOA Academy made history by lifting the trophy, becoming the sixth academy to win the prestigious competition.
The remembrance tournament has consistently produced talented players who have gone on to excel at national and international levels, solidifying its reputation as a premier platform for football development in Ekiti State.
Popoola Adefemi, speaking on behalf of the organizers, reiterated their commitment to sustaining the tournament in honor of Oba Ajakaiye, acknowledging his invaluable contributions to football growth in Ekiti.
The winners received a giant trophy, medals, and cash prizes. Adefemi expressed heartfelt gratitude to dignitaries, supporters, and guests from various towns, local governments, and states who attended the event.
