Adeyemi Football Club, Ibadan has dismissed as false the circulating claims on social media and some news blogs alleging that the club is unwilling to release players’ clearance.
In a statement signed by the club’s Media Manager, Olusola Alabi, the management urged the public to disregard the report, describing it as a deliberate attempt to tarnish the club’s image and integrity.
“I’m urging the general public, sports stakeholders and our fans to kindly disregard such allegation against our dear club. We have no reason to hold back any player’s clearance,” Alabi stated.
He further clarified that no player has ever been denied release once requested.
“Let’s state it clearly that there is no player who asked for his release that we did not attend to. Any player that demands for his clearance will be provided with it without delay,” he emphasized.
Alabi added that the club’s management is currently focused on restructuring the team for a brighter future, while reiterating that Adeyemi FC remains fully committed to the growth and success of every player.
