‎Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare is on the verge of joining Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers.

‎According to Belgian news outlet HLN, Wolves are preparing a €25m offer for the Genk striker.

‎Arokodare, 24, was the top scorer in the Belgian Pro League last season, netting 21 goals.

‎ His impressive performance has drawn interest from several top clubs, including AC Milan and Napoli. Wolves are targeting him as a replacement for Jørgen Strand-Larsen, who is expected to join Newcastle United before the transfer window closes.

‎Arokodare cost Genk €5m two years ago, and the Belgian club is now looking to make a significant profit from his sale.

‎Wolves have reportedly agreed on personal terms with Arokodare for a five-year contract, and negotiations are ongoing regarding payment terms and bonuses.

‎Arokodare has been left out of Genk’s squad for Thursday’s UEFA Europa Conference League fixture against Bulgarian side Lezh Poznan to minimize any risks.

‎This move suggests that the transfer is imminent, and Genk wants to avoid any potential injuries or issues that could jeopardize the deal.
