CHAN:Nine Remo Stars Players Named In Super Eagles B Squad

‎NPFL champions Remo Stars have had nine players named in Eric Chelle’s final Super Eagles B squad for the 8th CHAN tournament, which will take place in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda next month.

‎The players include Junior Nduka, Sodiq Ismail, Alex Oyowah, Qudus Akanni, Sikiru Alimi, Michael Tochukwu, Haruna Hadi, Jabbar Malik, and Olamilekan Adedayo.

‎The Remo Stars players will be joined by other talented players from across the country, including goalkeepers Henry Ozoemena Ani (Enyimba FC), Nurudeen Badmus (Kwara United), and Mustapha Lawal (Shooting Stars).

‎The squad will be led by experienced coach Eric Chelle, who has selected a balanced team with a mix of youth and experience.

‎The CHAN tournament is scheduled to take place from August 2 to August 30, 2025, in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. Nigeria will play their first two matches against Senegal and Sudan at the Amman Stadium on the island of Zanzibar, before taking on Congo at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

‎The final squad consists of 23 players, including:

‎- Goalkeepers: Henry Ozoemena Ani (Enyimba FC), Nurudeen Badmus (Kwara United), Lawal Mustapha (Shooting Stars)

‎- Defenders: Sodiq Ismaila (Remo Stars), Taiwo Abdulrafiu (Rivers United), Stephen Manyo Egbe (Rivers United), Junior Harrison Nduka (Remo Stars), Ngenge Leonard (Ikorodu City)

‎- Midfielders: Adedayo Olamilekan (Remo Stars), Alex Oyowah (Remo Stars), Hadi Haruna (Remo Stars), Michael Tochukwu (Remo Stars), Akanni Qudus (Remo Stars)

‎- Forwards: Sikiru Alimi (Remo Stars), Ijoma Anthony (Abia Warriors), Jabbar Malik (Remo Stars), Anas Yusuf (Nasarawa United), Shola Adelani (Ikorodu City), Temitope Vincent (Plateau United), Godwin Obaje (Rangers International)
