NPFL’s Top Scorer Anas Yusuf Makes Move To Tanzania
By Sportsgister
‎Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) top scorer Anas Yusuf has agreed to join Tanzanian side Tabora United.
‎
‎The 27-year-old striker will leave Nasarawa United, where he scored 18 goals last season to top the NPFL scoring charts.
‎
‎Yusuf’s goals were instrumental in Nasarawa United’s survival in the NPFL, and his departure is expected to be a significant loss for the team.
‎
‎However, the striker’s move to Tabora United marks a new chapter in his career.
‎
‎Anas Yusuf is currently in the Super Eagles B team camp, preparing for the upcoming 2024 African Nations Championship.
‎
‎ The tournament, which will be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, is scheduled to run from August 2 to 30, 2025.
