Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) top scorer Anas Yusuf has agreed to join Tanzanian side Tabora United.
The 27-year-old striker will leave Nasarawa United, where he scored 18 goals last season to top the NPFL scoring charts.
Yusuf’s goals were instrumental in Nasarawa United’s survival in the NPFL, and his departure is expected to be a significant loss for the team.
However, the striker’s move to Tabora United marks a new chapter in his career.
Anas Yusuf is currently in the Super Eagles B team camp, preparing for the upcoming 2024 African Nations Championship.
The tournament, which will be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, is scheduled to run from August 2 to 30, 2025.
