‎Nigerian striker Henry Onyekuru has signed a two-year contract with Turkish Super Lig outfit Genclerbirligi on a permanent transfer.

‎The 28-year-old joined the Red and Black on a free transfer after his contract with Saudi Arabia Professional Football League side Al-Fahya expired last month.

‎Onyekuru has previously played in Turkey for Galatasaray and Adana Demirspor, and he won the Turkish Super Lig and Turkish Cup with Galatasaray in the 2018/19 season.

‎The striker scored 10 goals in 29 league appearances for Al Fahya before making the move to Genclerbirligi.

‎Genclerbirligi were promoted to the Turkish top-flight last season, and Onyekuru’s signing is expected to boost the team’s chances of success in the Super Lig.

‎ The Nigerian striker is looking to make an impact with his new team and help them establish themselves in the top division.
