Emiloju FC Chairman, Alhaji Jimoh Alao Congratulates Gusau On WAFU B Presidency

The chairman Emiloju football Club of Lagos and a football stakeholder Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao extended his warmest congratulations to the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, on his recent appointment as the Acting President of the West African Football Union Zone B (WAFU-B).

 

Speaking to Sportsgister, Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao said Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau’s unrelented efforts in repositioning Nigerian football was key to his recent elevation.

 

“As NFF President, Gusau has done exceptionally well in repositioning Nigerian football,and his commitment and passion for football has earned him this prestigious position.

 

“Alhaji Gusau’s ascension to the WAFU presidency is a testament to his dedication, leadership skills, and commitment to the development of football in the region.

 

Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao expressed confidence that Gusau will bring the same level of passion and excellence to WAFU-B as he has done with the NFF, thereby fostering greater unity and progress among member nations.

 

“I have no doubt that he will excel in his new role following his antecedent as a goal getter

 

Alhaji Alao concluded by wishing NFF president a successful tenure as he assumes leadership Of WAFU B

 

With his election as WAFU B President , Gusau becomes the fourth Nigerian to lead the regional football governing body following the footsteps of Jonathan Ogufere, Abdulmumini Aminu, and Amos Adamu.

 

WAFU Zone B comprises Nigeria, Benin Republic, Burkina Faso, Cote D’ Ivoire, Ghana, Niger Republic and Togo.
