Earlier in the day, B.E. Arena FC secured their spot in the final by narrowly defeating the resilient FC Ebedei JNR. Emmanuel Nweke and Nnadoie Kosisochukwu scored two second-half goals to clinch a 2-0 victory over the Oliseh Boys JNR.
In the second semifinal, FC Ebedei showed their determination by overcoming Wonderxchange FC with a score of 3-1. Shile Lawal scored a brace, bringing his total goal tally to six in the tournament.
Lawal had the opportunity for a hat trick but opted to let Miracle Osekene take the penalty kick, which Osekene confidently converted, beating Wonderxchange FC goalkeeper Imoleayo Alabi for a 3-0 lead.
Despite being a man down due to a red card, Wonderxchange FC managed to score a consolation goal through Mighty Aderibigbe.
