Head coach to the reigning NPFL champions, Rangers International, Fidelis Ilechukwu, has sounded it clear to the club’s numerous followers that his team would build on the success recorded over Ikorodu City in a match day 22, NPFL 2024/2025 fixture in the remaining part of the season especially as the ‘Flying Antelopes’ visit Yenagoa, Bayelsa state for a date with Bayelsa United.

Speaking after the 2-0 spanking of the ‘Oga Boys’ before an appreciative crowd where goals from Godwin Obaje and Isaac Saviour ensured the Enugu side got back to winning ways after a two-game losing streak, coach Ilechukwu said that he and his technical crew members were positive going forward into the later part of the season.

“No doubt, we are going to build on the win we achieved against Ikorodu City at home and push for a positive finish to our campaign this season. Sure, we are not under any pressure again and the boys understand what is at stake as defending champions and I believe in their abilities to deliver the goods hence forth,” said the experienced gaffer.

Rangers Int’l will this weekend in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state, trade tackles with Bayelsa United FC at the Samson Siasia stadium, Yenagoa with kickoff fixed for 4:00 pm in a match day 23 NPFL 2024/2025 fixture as the defending NPFL champions look to successfully defend the trophy it won last season.
