Precious Adekunle Gbotemi delivered an outstanding performance in the Badminton girls’ singles final at the ongoing National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State.
Demonstrating technical brilliance, she overpowered Ojo Ifeoluwa of Team Delta, winning in two straight sets.
Gbotemi had the backing of several prominent Badminton stakeholders at the stand, including Coach Tunde Kazeem, former state’s director of sports ,Alhaji Olatunji Mohammed, Elado Motor, and Mallam Umar (Abdulfatai Emi o safe).
With her victory, Team Kwara’s gold medal tally now stands at 14, surpassing last year’s record.
