Nigeria forward Josh Maja has been nominated for Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month for August.
Maja scored four goals and registered one assist in four outings for West Bromwich Albion in the month.
The striker scored a hat-trick in the Baggies 3-1 win against Queens Park Rangers on the opening day of the season.
The former Girondins Bordeaux player was also on target in Albion’s 2-1 success against Stoke City two weeks later.
Maja set up Jayson Molumby for the only goal in Carlos Corberán’s side’s 1-0 victory at Swansea City just before the international break.
Oxford United’s Mark Harris, Millwall’s Duncan Watmore and Sunderland defender Luke O’Nien are the other players nominated for the Player of t
he Month gong.
