Director Of Cornerflag Connections Ltd, Yusuf Yahaya Kwande Imbibes PFA Mantra Of Gender Inequality As Football Revival Continues In Plateau State

After a successful scouting exercise where players that distinguished themselves will be on their way to Europe, Asia and North America in no time, the scouters will still be in Jos, not only for the boys but for the girls as well.
Director of the Cornerflag Connections Ltd, Mr. Yusuf Yahaya Kwande said it is now imperative to include women in our football development partnership with the Plateau State Football Association after a demand was made by the Plateau State Football Association Chairman, Hon. Dr. Suleiman Yahaya Kwande.
A visibly impressed Yusuf Kwande with the massive talents on ground said: “This initiative, sponsored by Cornerflag Connections Ltd in partnership with the PFA is designed to identify and promote young players with exceptional talents and potentials in football. We are so impressed and happy with the talents on ground, it’s glaring that the PFA are seriously engaging these kids in competitions. You could see their games and tactics mastery. We still need to keep on coming to fish out talents but this time around, we are asked to help put their girls in limelight too by giving them good and mouthwatering contracts.”
Mr Yusuf Kwande concludes: “We have strategic partnership across Europe, Asia and North America ,which includes Real Talent FC, a company based in the UK and Spain. We want to nurture these young talents. And we thank the PFA, headed by my younger brother, Hon. Suleiman Yahaya Kwande for a seamless collaboration facilitated.”
Moving ahead, Mr. Yusuf Kwande expressed optimism about future tournaments in the State. He commended the presence of Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, who gifted a sum of #3 million to the ten teams that participated among other important dignitaries on ground like Governor’s son, Governor’s representatives and notable Nigeria footballers like Austin Amutu and Stephen Gopey, among others, all added colour to the occasion and the tournament’s success.
Mr. Yusuf Kwande enjoined aspiring footballers to embody discipline, commitment, dedication, hard work, good character and perseverance in pursuing their football dreams.
