Wayne Rooney has been sacked as Birmingham manager.
The Manchester United legend was appointed Blues boss at the start of October but went on to win just two games during his tenure in charge.
On Monday night, Birmingham fell to a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Leeds which spelled the end for the former Derby County and DC United boss.
The ninth loss in 15 games under Rooney saw the visitors stay in 20th place in the Championship and extended the manager’s woeful run in charge.
Now, Birmingham have decided to dismiss the 38-year-old from his role.
