Following rumours making the round that the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF has offered former Super Eagles captain, Vincent Enyeama a role to support goalkeeping department of the team ahead of the forthcoming African Cup of Nations, the Media Director of the nation’s Football Governing Body, Ademola Olajire has described the news as baseless and a figment of imagination of the author.

Olajire, in an exclusive chat with the CEO Varsportnow.blogspot.com , Sunday Agunbiade (Mr VAR) on Monday evening said the public should disregard any news that does not emanate from the Federation, particularly as regards hiring and firing of coaches. According to the erudite Journalist, he said:

“NFF has not offered Enyeama any role. People should stop the bruiting of this very fake news. It is annoying.”

“If there’s anything like that, there would be a statement from the NFF.” Olajiire clarified.

The 34th edition of African Cup of Nations is set to hold in Ivory Coast and will commence on January 13th and ends February 11th with Nigeria grouped with the host nation, Ivory Coast, Guinea Bissau and Equitoria Guinea
