NPFL: Remo Stars back on top, Kwara Utd Edge Plateau Utd

Sikiru Alimi and Adams Olamilekan scored in stoppage time as Remo Stars defeated Lobi Stars 2-0 in Ikenne on Thursday night.



Alimi nodded home Olamilekan’s cross a minute into stoppage time.


Olamilekan added the second three minutes later.



Remo Stars reclaimed the top spot on the log following the win.


At the Eket Township Stadium, Akwa United were held to a 0-0 draw by Sunshine Stars.


Kwara United defeated Plateau United 2-1 in Ilorin.



Plateau United went in front through Albert Hilary in the 19th minute, but the home team fought back, with Kabiru Balogun equalising in the 71st minute.


Sad’eeq Yusuf netted the decisive goal 10 minutes later.
