NPFL:Finidi Rues Missed Chances In Enyimba’s Defeat To Remo Stars

Enyimba head coach, Finidi George has said failure to convert their chances cost his team victory against Remo Stars.

The Aba giants suffered a 1-0 defeat against the Sky Blue Stars at the Enyimba Stadium on Wednesday.

The defeat was Enyimba’s first home loss since they fell at home to Dakkada in 2022.

Finidi claimed his side deserved more from the game.

“It’s not the best team that won with all the chances that we had,” he stated in a post-match interview.

“Remo Stars didn’t play in the second half, we gave our all in the game.

“If we had converted some of our chances we wouldn’t be talking about which team is best.”

Enyimba remains in fifth position on the table following the result.
