2023 CAF Awards Set For Dec. 13 In Morocco

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have announced that the 2023 CAF Awards, a prestigious ceremony honouring the continent’s top footballing achievements, will be held on December 13th in the vibrant city of Marrakech, Morocco.

 

The event is set to take place at the Movenpick Hotel in the vibrant city of Marrakech, bringing together football legends, current stars, and influential figures from the African football scene.

 

The CAF Awards recognises and celebrates the outstanding contributions of players, coaches, teams, and individuals who have made significant impacts on African football throughout the year. The awards categories include Men’s Player of the Year, Women’s Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, National Team of the Year, and Club of the Year.

 

Earlier this week, CAF announced the shortlists for the women’s categories for the CAF Awards 2023. For the Player of the Year, ten players remain in the race for the prestigious individual honour.

 

Whereas, the other categories namely Interclub Player of the Year, Goalkeeper of the Year, Young Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, National Team of the Year and Club of the Year, have five nominees each.

 

The 2023 CAF Awards promises to be a grand spectacle, showcasing the talent and passion that African football is known for. The event will also serve as a platform to promote African football’s global reach and highlight its continued growth and development.
