NPFL: Sporting Lagos Slapped With Million Naira For Fans’ Unruly Act

Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL newcomers, Sporting Lagos have been sanctioned N1 000, 000 for breaching the framework and Rules of the league during their match against Heartland on Sunday.

Heartland picked a valuable point off the newcomers in their 1-1 draw in Lagos

The Lagos club breached rules after their supporters threw objects onto the pitch during the course of the match.

They are fined N1 million for failing to provide adequate security & are directed to pay the fine within 14 days to avoid further sanctions.

The club have been ordered to implement an effective matchday security arrangement & organise a reorientation programme for their supporters.
